What You Need
- A smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android)
- The free Avenza Maps app
- Downloaded ILS GeoPDF maps for your region
How It Works
GeoPDF maps from ILS are georeferenced — meaning GPS coordinates are embedded in the PDF. Load them into Avenza Maps and your device's GPS will show your real-time position on the map, even without any internet connection.
